Meritech has entered into a partnership with Wirepas, the Finnish IoT connectivity company, as a consulting, system integration, and reseller partner for the Japanese market.
Wirepas provides the connectivity layer behind ultra-resilient, highly scalable mesh networks. Its decentralized architecture means every device routes independently, so networks self-organize and self-heal as devices are added or moved. The Wirepas Platform runs in over 20 million devices worldwide, including the largest mesh network of more than one million smart electricity meters.
Meritech’s role begins well before deployment. We work with customers to design the network, size it for full-scale rollout, build the business case, and prove it through a structured pilot — then deliver it, pairing Wirepas connectivity with our own Edge-2-Cloud capability across hardware, firmware, and cloud. Japanese customers get a single local partner from advisory through to long-term support.
The partnership targets four main application areas: sensor connectivity, asset tracking, building management, and smart metering.
